Birth is sacred. It is an experience that can be empowering and healing, laden with ecstasy and joy. It is also an experience that calls us to be vulnerable and reveal the most intimate details of our lives. This is why I feel privileged to be doing this work. I want to be alongside you for the journey towards the birth you want. I serve as a source for peace, to remind you of your wants when things get tough.

Postpartum Doula

Like birth, I believe the immediate postpartum period is also sacred time for parents. it is a period of healing, bonding and learning. it can also be a very isolating and lonely experience. The addition of a new little human(or humans) to you life brings so many emotions and I am here to help you navigate through it all. As your postpartum doula, I am here for YOU. I am here to bring a calming energy to your home, while building you up to be confident in everything you do as a new or seasoned parent.

During the first few months of the postpartum period, I believe that rest, nourishment and reflection are key to this momentous life transition. As your postpartum doula, I will…

  • Sit with you to process your birth experience, as many times as you want
  • Acknowledge you unique birth and postpartum experiences
  • Offer basic lactation support
  • Offer referral
  • Prepare meals and snacks for optimal healing
  • Be your hydration reminder
  • Offer to help assemble baby’s crib, stroller, carrier, etc..
  • Offer you time to sleep, relax, shower (anything that makes you feel taken care of)
  • Help you navigate and set boundaries with family and friends
  • Always have open arms for hugs and/or tears

I will be accepting families for both overnight and daytime postpartum support beginning March 1st.

  • $40 per hour
  • 4 hour minimum for daytime support
  • 8 hour minimum for overnight support
